Ranade sir celebrated the most peopled birthday of his life on the 21st July. Those who made indescribable contributions in finishing the 10 sq.metre B'Day cake presented as parts A and B to smithereens in 2 minutes spent the rest of their time sadistically pricking the balloons festooned inside the mess hall. In the picture you can see your CD, meanwhile, about to be immersed in music for the next ten minutes or till lunch is ready, whichever the most earliest...
Batch65 can be really proud of having this short man with a humble husky voice lead you. Heis perhaps one of the best musically conscious officers of the Indian Revenue Service till date. Just listening to his Yaman on the flute might enthrall you but that would not be enough to make you realise that art is something that you need to keep on honing with humility and deep passion till the last breath. Speak to him, watch him do riyaz, walk with him, make him happy listening to his music. Ranade sir tells me , he is waiting for the Jugulbandi with his Guru to happen at the NADT on the 19th July 2012.
